Accommodation Dining Meals Tariffs Confirmation Letter Motor Car Particulars Security Dress Code Cape Town - Port Elizabeth Route Accommodation: Each sleeper coach can accommodate a maximum of 12 persons. There are 5 2-sleeper compartments and 2 1-sleeper coupe's. All beds are on floor level. Each sleeper coach are equipped with 2 toilets and a shower. Each compartment / coupe has their own wash basin. Also provided: gowns, toiletries and bedding. An electrical plug is also fitted in the rooms. Dining: The Premier Classe Train has the following facilities onboard: - 2 Dining Cars
- Lounge Car
- Smoking Lounge which is situated at the rear of the train
Meals: The ticket price includes all meals on the train, early morning tea/coffee and high tea/coffee in the afternoon. Beverages ordered from the bar are for own account. Tariffs: 0-9 Years: half price
10 years and older: full price Confirmation Letter: The confirmation letter that is sent to you serves as your train ticket. Please provide this letter on arrival at the Premier Classe Lounge. Motor Car Particulars: JHB - Cape Town Route Only.
The owner must report to the Premier Classe Office. You may pack your luggage inside the car but no responsibility will be taken by Shosholoza Meyl for any loss. The motor cars are loaded at the rear of the train and securely strapped. Security: Security personnel are on duty to ensure your safety. Dress Code: Casual clothing is allowed on the train. Smart casual clothing is encouraged at dinner time in the dining car. Cape Town - Port Elizabeth Route: Passengers may only embark / disembark from George & Oudtshoorn along the route. All other stops are for operational purposes only.
